Why do I need to bring my passport?
EU citizens may travel within Europe without a passport and only with their identity card. However, we must fill in our crew list with the passport number of each crew member and be able to show this ID during the sailing trip. So be sure to bring your passport with you.
Can I get a diving license with you?
No, we do not offer training courses. Our services are aimed at certified divers and anyone who would like to accompany them. However, guests without a diving licence will not be bored either: many of the diving spots are also suitable for snorkelling and swimming.

Is this holiday suitable for kids?
Sailing can be fun for everyone, but a boat like ours is not equipped for the safety of babies and small children. This starts with the fact that our life jackets require a minimum height of 1.40 metres (for anyone under this height, please bring your own life jacket!) and there is no adequate protection against falling out of the railing. We are happy to take children and teenagers from the age of 8. If they have a Junior Open Water Diver licence, we will be happy to accompany them underwater within the rules of the licence. However, parents should also bear in mind that we are out on the water for several hours a day and that it is not possible to get off the boat during this time. This can lead to boredom and this type of holiday may not be interesting for all children.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, our boat is not equipped for animals. We don’t have a net around the railing, the steps are quite high and the space where an animal can stay safely and in peace is very limited. We are on the water for several hours a day and possibly also at night and during this time it is difficult or impossible to get off the boat to go for a walk on land. Animals can also get seasick. Last but not least, we would like to keep the boat free of animal hair for allergy sufferers. We would therefore ask you to leave your pets at home.
Can I charter the boat without a skipper?
No, the boat is our home and we operate it throughout the year.
I have a food allergy or medical condition. Can I still come on your boat?
Write in the contact form which allergy or impairment you have. As a rule, nothing stands in the way of your vacation and we can also find good ways around many allergies. If you need special medication, make sure you bring it along. If it needs cooling, we will find space in one of the refidgerators.

Where is your boat located? What is the nearest airport? How do I get from the airport to your boat?
On arrival and departure days our boat will be moored in Vliho on the island of Lefkada.
The nearest airport is Aktion Airport (PVK) near Preveza.
By Taxi: There is a taxi stand outside Preveza (Aktion) airport. Ask them to take you to Vliho Bay (by Sail Ionian). The fare should be around €50-60 (a little more for mini buses). We will also be happy to give you contacts of reliable taxi drivers in the area, if you want to book a taxi in advance.
By Rental Car: There are multiple rental agencies that operate from Preveza (Aktion) airport. It is about a 45 minute drive to Vliho, and there is plenty of parking along the waterfront.
By Bus: To get to Vliho, you first need to take the bus from Preveza (Aktion) airport to Lefkada Marina\Bus Station. From there, you then change to a local bus to Vliho. Inform the driver of the first bus where you are going, as he may point you to the one to change to and even ask it to wait if he is running late. Buses from the airport only run about three times a day. The timetables for airport buses and local buses to Vliho can be found at KTEL Lefkada.
