Where will we sail?
We explore the Southern Ionian Islands, including Lefkada, Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos, Ithaca and Kefalonia. Wind and weather determine our actual route, so there’s no fixed itinerary.
Along the way, we’d love to introduce you to the natural beauty of the islands, their culture and some of the stories connecting them to ancient and more recent history.
During our week together, we’ll visit charming little harbours, stunning bays and lively towns. We focus on the central and southern Ionian Islands, keeping sailing distances manageable so there’s more time to swim, explore and enjoy each destination.
What is a typical day like?
We discuss the next day’s destination and departure time the evening before. After breakfast aboard, we sail or motor towards the next island. When conditions allow, we stop around lunchtime for swimming, snorkelling or paddleboarding. Once we arrive, there is usually time to explore or relax. Most evenings we eat at a local taverna, and we normally spend one night at anchor in a bay.

Never sailed before?
No problem.
You need no sailing licence or previous experience. We handle Katja ourselves as skipper and co-skipper. If you’re curious, you’re welcome to take the helm or learn how the sails and lines work. Or simply relax and enjoy the view.

Meet your crew
We’re Claudi and James, and Katja is our floating home as well as the catamaran we love sharing with our guests.
What started as a rather crazy idea turned into a new life on the water. Today, we take small groups sailing through the Southern Ionian Islands, combining our love of sailing, the sea and the places we’ve come to know.
We enjoy sharing what we’ve learned along the way, whether it’s a little sailing knowledge, an interesting story about an island or a favourite spot we’ve discovered. And because we’re both aboard throughout the week, there’s always someone to answer questions, lend a hand or simply have a chat.
What is included?
Included: seven nights aboard, skipper and co-skipper, basic breakfast supplies, snacks, water, coffee and tea, SUP and snorkelling equipment, normal diesel use and town-quay fees.
Not included: flights, transfers, restaurant meals and other meals, paid marinas and optional activities. There is no onboard cooking service. Diving is optional, subject to separate arrangements and charges.
